As a Backend Engineer, you’ll help develop scalable systems for our AI-driven platform, working across the stack to integrate cutting-edge technology with user-focused solutions.
The company, self-funded since 2018, has achieved over 100 million downloads globally and maintains offices in Lisbon and San Francisco. Based in Amsterdam, this role requires a collaborative engineer passionate about building high-impact software.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend systems for the AI-powered PRP platform
- Integrate AI/ML features with RESTful APIs and cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with frontend teams to implement scalable architecture
- Optimize database performance and system reliability
- Ensure security and compliance in cloud-native environments
Requirements
- 4+ years of backend development experience
- Strong Python proficiency and API design skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proven track record in building high-traffic applications
