Role overview

Merative (Merge) is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize cloud-native solutions for healthcare imaging systems. This role focuses on Azure-based infrastructure to support Vendor-Neutral Archive (VNA), PACS, and enterprise imaging workflows. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure-based cloud infrastructure for medical imaging solutions.
• Optimize cloud environments for scalability, cost-efficiency, and security.
• Integrate cloud platforms with enterprise systems and third-party tools.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure to ensure 24/7 availability.
• Lead DevOps practices to streamline deployment pipelines.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering (Azure preferred).
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with healthcare IT systems (PACS, VNA) or related domains.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and data security standards.
