Role overview

NavitasPartners is hiring a Data Analyst / Data Product Analyst in Fort Saskatchewan, Edmonton region, Alberta. This is a 9-month contract position supporting a major regulatory modernization initiative focused on environmental and natural resource regulatory processes. The role involves building scalable, secure, and analytics-ready data solutions to transform how regulatory data is managed and utilized. This is an Onsite position with a Monday to Friday schedule from 08:15 AM to 04:30 PM Alberta Time.

This Full-time contract opportunity is based in Fort Saskatchewan, Edmonton region, and requires Onsite attendance. Salary details are available in the employer description. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, product analytics, and regulatory or environmental data systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver insights that drive decision-making and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze environmental and natural resource regulatory data to support modernization initiatives
  • Build and maintain scalable, secure, and analytics-ready data products and dashboards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights
  • Develop reports and visualizations to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Support data quality assurance and validation processes across regulatory datasets

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in data analysis or data product analytics roles
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar data analysis tools and languages
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work onsite Monday to Friday during Alberta business hours
  • Experience with regulatory, environmental, or natural resource data is an asset
