Job details
This is a Full-time Contract role based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The position is Onsite and requires working standard business hours. The Data Analyst will contribute to transforming regulatory data systems, ensuring data quality, and enabling data-driven decision-making for environmental and natural resource management. This is not an Internship.
Responsibilities
- Support regulatory modernization initiative for environmental and natural resource processes
- Build and maintain scalable, secure, and analytics-ready data solutions
- Analyze complex datasets to derive actionable insights for stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data product requirements
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in data analysis or data product roles
- Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools, and analytics platforms
- Strong understanding of data governance and regulatory compliance
- Experience building data products or analytics solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
