This is a Full-time, Remote position located in India. The Distinguished Engineer will lead architectural decisions, mentor engineering teams, and ensure scalability and security across the platform. Responsibilities
- Architect and evolve the technical vision for PlexTrac's cybersecurity SaaS platform
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams on complex security and scalability challenges
- Drive technical strategy for exposure management and remediation workflows
- Mentor senior engineers and establish engineering best practices across the organization
- Collaborate with product and security teams to operationalize security findings at scale
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in cybersecurity domains
- Proven track record architecting large-scale SaaS platforms and distributed systems
- Strong knowledge of security reporting, vulnerability management, or penetration testing tools
- Experience leading technical strategy and mentoring engineering teams
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with remote, distributed teams
