This is a full-time, onsite position located in Plano, Collin County, Texas. Local candidates are strongly preferred. The role offers an annual salary of approximately $88,390 USD. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build enterprise-grade data infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring data quality, performance, and scalability across streaming and batch processing workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines using GCP services including BigQuery and Dataflow
- Develop ETL/ELT workflows with Python or Java for batch and streaming data processing
- Architect data models using star and snowflake schemas for analytics workloads
- Optimize query performance and pipeline efficiency across GCP data infrastructure
- Build real-time streaming pipelines using Pub/Sub and Apache Beam frameworks
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering or data development roles
- Strong hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery
- Proficiency in SQL at an advanced level and Python or Java for pipeline development
- Experience with Dataflow, Apache Beam, Dataform, Cloud Run, and Cloud Storage
- Deep understanding of data modeling techniques including star and snowflake schemas
- Local to Plano, Texas or willing to work onsite full-time
