This is a full-time, onsite role based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The Lead Information Security Engineer will work within Wells Fargo's cybersecurity team, providing proactive and reactive monitoring, assessment, and communication for the Secure Web Gateway infrastructure. This position requires deep expertise in threat intelligence, security engineering, and financial services security standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor internal and external landscapes for cyber threats and vulnerabilities
- Lead Secure Web Gateway proxy engineering and security operations
- Identify and assess risks, malicious code, and attacks targeting financial services
- Provide proactive and reactive security monitoring and incident response
- Communicate security threats and mitigation strategies to stakeholders
- Continuously evaluate emerging threats specific to Wells Fargo operations
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in information security engineering
- Deep expertise in Secure Web Gateway and proxy technologies
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence and vulnerability management
- Experience in financial services cybersecurity preferred
- Proven ability to monitor and respond to security incidents
