SR2 REC LTD is hiring a Mid-Level Frontend Engineer to join a public sector investment technology project on a remote, contract basis. This role focuses on building accessible UI components and complex grant application forms using React and Remix for a bespoke grants management platform that distributes public funds across the UK.

Job details

This is a Remote, Contract position based in the UK. The initial engagement is 3 months with a day rate of approximately ยฃ53,321 annually (day rate dependent on experience), and the role is Outside IR35. You will work hands-on with modern frontend technologies including React and Remix or Next.js, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards while delivering intuitive user experiences for public sector stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain UI components for a grants management platform
  • Build complex, accessible grant application forms using React and Remix
  • Ensure compliance with WCAG accessibility standards across all interfaces
  • Collaborate with backend teams to integrate frontend components
  • Optimize frontend performance and user experience for public sector users
