This is a full-time, onsite position based in Castro District, San Francisco, California. The role requires 40 hours per week and is classified as non-exempt. You will work directly with youth-focused programs, coordinate outreach initiatives, and manage communications across multiple channels to support LYRIC's mission of inspiring positive social change for nearly 2,000 young people annually.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate outreach initiatives to engage LGBTQQ and allied youth
- Manage communications across digital and traditional channels
- Develop content that supports community building and program awareness
- Collaborate with the Director of Development on strategic messaging
- Track and report on outreach and engagement metrics
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in communications, outreach, or marketing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with social media platforms and content management
- Passion for LGBTQQ youth advocacy and community service
- Ability to work collaboratively in a mission-driven environment
- Familiarity with nonprofit communications preferred
