Job details

This is a contract position based in Toronto, Ontario, operating in a hybrid work mode with four days onsite per week. The contract duration is 6-12 months. Candidates should have strong Unix/Linux administration skills, experience with Openshift container platforms, and proficiency in Stonebranch Universal Automation Center for job scheduling and workflow management.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain production environments across Unix and Openshift platforms
  • Troubleshoot and resolve critical system incidents to ensure uptime and stability
  • Manage job scheduling and automation workflows using Stonebranch UAC
  • Develop and maintain shell scripts for operational tasks and automation
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams on production deployments
  • Document technical procedures and maintain compliance with operational standards

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in production support or system administration
  • Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting
  • Hands-on experience with Openshift container platform and Kubernetes
  • Working knowledge of Stonebranch Universal Automation Center
  • Familiarity with JCL (Job Control Language) and batch processing
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure
