Grafana Labs seeks a Senior Backend Engineer to design and maintain core services for their open-source visualization platform. You'll work on high-impact systems used by 20M+ users globally, including teams at Bloomberg, JPMorgan Chase, and NASA. The role requires collaboration across engineering teams to optimize performance and scalability of critical backend infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance backend systems for Grafana's core services
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical designs
Requirements
- 4+ years of backend development experience with Python/Go
- Proven expertise in RESTful API design and cloud architecture
- Strong understanding of database systems and distributed services
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) preferred
