This is a full-time contract position based in Reston, VA, available 100% Remote. The salary is approximately $87,158 USD. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS security services, application firewall management, and security automation using Python, JavaScript, AWS CDK, and CloudFormation. You will work directly with multiple application teams to ensure security best practices and compliance across the organization's cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Serve as central security authority for all application development teams
- Design and implement security automation using Python, JavaScript, and AWS CDK
- Manage and configure application firewalls across AWS environments
- Support enterprise-level security controls and compliance requirements
- Develop infrastructure as code solutions using CloudFormation and AWS CDK
Requirements
- Senior-level experience in cloud security engineering roles

- Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript
