This is a full-time, onsite position based in Great Packington, Meriden. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect and implement backend solutions, maintain APIs, and optimize database performance. The salary range is £60,000 - £65,000 GBP per year. You will contribute to complex web applications while following software engineering best practices and writing clean, maintainable code.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain scalable APIs and backend services using PHP and Symfony
  • Design and optimize MySQL databases and relational data structures
  • Support and enhance complex web applications in production environments
  • Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions

Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience with PHP and Symfony framework
