Role overview
G-NAV, a certified aerospace organization under the French Gliding Federation, seeks a software engineer to develop systems for aircraft navigability management. The role involves designing and maintaining software solutions to support annual certification processes for 1800+ gliders and powered aircraft, as well as maintenance tracking for 50+ managed aircraft.
Candidates will collaborate with aviation engineers to implement digital tools that ensure compliance with aviation safety standards while optimizing operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain aircraft certification management software
- Design database solutions for aircraft maintenance tracking
- Implement RESTful APIs for aviation data exchange
- Collaborate with aviation engineers on system requirements
- Ensure compliance with aviation safety regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Aerospace Engineering
- 2+ years professional software development experience
- Proficiency in Python or C#
- Experience with SQL database design
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies
