This is a full-time, onsite position based at Chequers Centre, Maidstone. The role offers a competitive salary between £78,000 and £97,500 per year. You will lead engineering initiatives involving forward-looking financial models such as discounted cashflow projections and Monte Carlo simulations, while mentoring teams and implementing cutting-edge AI tooling to enhance developer productivity and system capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor modern engineering teams in full-stack development practices
- Architect and deliver financial modelling systems with forward-looking projections
- Implement AI-assisted and agentic engineering solutions across the platform
- Drive technical strategy using Python, TypeScript, React, and Azure technologies
- Oversee code quality, system design, and engineering best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Lead Engineer in modern engineering teams
- Strong Python development skills within full-stack environments
- Proficiency with TypeScript, React, and Azure-based architectures
- Experience building financial modelling systems including DCF or Monte Carlo simulations
- Demonstrable experience implementing AI-assisted or agentic engineering tools
