This is a full-time, onsite role based in Jersey City, Hudson County. The position offers a salary range of 65,000 per year. Working hours are 35 hours per week, typically 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with occasional evening and weekend shifts as needed. The role reports to the Communications & Marketing Supervisor and is classified as Software Development Specialist 1 under civil service guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the library's website and digital platforms
- Coordinate with Communications & Marketing team on web content strategy
- Ensure website accessibility and user experience standards are met
- Update and publish web content using content management systems
- Monitor website performance and implement improvements
Requirements
- Experience with content management systems and web technologies
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and website maintenance tools
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
