Job details
This Internship is based in Brackel, Dortmund and is an Onsite position. You will develop golden demo UIs using Streamlit, create reference backends with FastAPI, and maintain repository templates and starter kits. The role involves building Python utilities for validation and automation, implementing CI checks, and working with tool calling, retrieval, and citation logic for generative AI applications.
Responsibilities
- Build demo UIs with Streamlit for RAG and agent use cases
- Create reference backends using FastAPI with tool calling and retrieval logic
- Maintain repository templates, starter kits, and configuration defaults
- Develop Python utilities for validation, sanity checks, and setup automation
- Implement simple CI checks and clean error handling patterns
Requirements
- Enrolled student in Computer Science, AI, or related field
- Proficiency in Python programming and modern development practices
- Familiarity with generative AI concepts, RAG, or agent frameworks
- Experience with FastAPI, Streamlit, or similar frameworks is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to code quality
