This is a Remote position based in the USA, offered as a 12-month Contract. This role is not an internship. The salary for this position is 151,840 USD per year.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data quality and availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and architectural blueprints.
- Optimize database performance and refine data models for high-efficiency querying.
- Develop automated monitoring systems to track data pipeline health and resolve bottlenecks.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on complex data integration projects.
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience in data engineering or a similar senior technical role.
- Proven expertise in writing complex SQL queries and managing relational databases.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages used for data processing, such as Python or Scala.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and distributed computing frameworks.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while meeting strict deadlines.
