Terms of Service

The rules that keep Onlano fair for candidates, companies and agencies.

Last updated: 14 May 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and Onlano (a product of the team at Webmarkaz.net, referred to as "Onlano", "we", "our" or "us") and govern your access to and use of onlano.com, its subdomains and any related services (together, the "Platform"). By creating an account, posting content, submitting an application or simply browsing the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please stop using the Platform.

1. What Onlano is

Onlano is a modern job portal that helps candidates, companies, recruitment agencies and recruiters connect. We provide tools for:

  • Discovering jobs by category, keyword and recency.
  • Publishing job listings and managing company profiles.
  • Submitting applications, saving CVs and tracking activity.
  • Optional paid features such as featured job listings, job posting credits and Whop checkout when billing is enabled.

Onlano does not employ candidates and is not party to any employment, contractor or service contract that may result from a connection made through the Platform.

2. Eligibility and accounts

To use most features you need an account. You agree that you will:

  1. Provide accurate, current and complete information when you register.
  2. Keep your account credentials confidential and not share them with anyone else.
  3. Be responsible for everything that happens under your account.
  4. Be old enough under the laws of your country to enter into a binding contract.

We may suspend, restrict or close any account that violates these Terms, looks fraudulent, is used to abuse other users, or that the law requires us to act on.

3. How candidates use Onlano

If you use Onlano as a candidate, you understand that:

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile, CV, cover letters and any details you share with employers.
  • Job decisions are made by the employers and agencies you apply to, not by Onlano.
  • Onlano does not guarantee that any application will be reviewed, replied to or result in a job offer.
  • You should never share sensitive financial information, government identifiers or payment details with an employer through the Platform.

4. How employers and agencies use Onlano

If you use Onlano to post jobs or contact candidates, you agree that:

  • Every job you publish reflects a real, lawful opening at a real organisation.
  • You will not post listings that discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, marital status or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
  • You will not collect, store or process candidate data outside of what is necessary to evaluate the application.
  • You will not charge candidates a fee to apply, to be considered or to start a role.
  • You are responsible for complying with all employment, immigration, data protection and tax laws that apply to your hiring activity.

Paid posting credits, where applicable, are consumed when a listing is published and are non-refundable once the listing is live, unless required by law or agreed by us in writing.

5. Acceptable use

While using the Platform, you agree not to:

  • Post content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, obscene, harassing, hateful or that infringes on the rights of others.
  • Use the Platform to send spam, run unauthorized scrapers, mass-message users or distribute malware.
  • Attempt to access accounts, databases or admin areas you do not own.
  • Reverse engineer, copy or resell any part of the Platform without our written consent.
  • Use the Platform to facilitate fraud, money laundering, MLM recruitment, adult services or any activity prohibited by law.

We may, at our discretion, remove content, suspend accounts and report serious abuse to the competent authorities.

6. User content and licence

You retain ownership of the content you submit to Onlano, including job descriptions, CVs, profile text and company information ("User Content"). By submitting User Content you grant Onlano a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, format, distribute and transmit that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.

You confirm that you have the right to share each piece of User Content, that it does not violate any law or third-party right, and that it is accurate as of the time you submit it.

7. Payments and billing

Some features of Onlano may require payment, including but not limited to paid job credits and premium listings. When billing is enabled:

  • Payments are processed by Whop and are subject to Whop's terms.
  • Prices, credit packs and any taxes will be displayed before checkout.
  • Charges are non-refundable except where required by law or where we explicitly say so in writing.
  • You are responsible for keeping your billing details up to date.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our privacy practices. We collect only what is needed to run the service: account details, profile and application data, basic usage logs and, when relevant, billing metadata. We do not sell your personal data. Where the law gives you the right to access, correct or delete your data, we will honor those requests within a reasonable time.

9. Third-party services

Onlano integrates with services such as Whop for payments, Google for authentication and various transactional email providers. When you use those features you may also be bound by the terms of the relevant third party. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services we link to or interoperate with.

10. Intellectual property

The Onlano brand, the Onlano logo, the Webmarkaz.net brand, the Platform design, the source code, the layout and any non-user content are owned by Onlano and the team at Webmarkaz.net or licensed to us. You may not use these assets for any commercial purpose without prior written permission.

11. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, virus-free or fully secure.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy of any job listing, company profile, CV or application.
  • We do not guarantee that you will be hired, that a role will be filled or that any specific outcome will follow from using the Platform.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Onlano, the team at Webmarkaz.net, our affiliates, officers and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, data, reputation or opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the Platform.

In any case, our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Platform will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to Onlano during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim or (b) USD 100.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Onlano, the team at Webmarkaz.net and our contractors from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Platform or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

14. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms, that your use exposes other users or the Platform to risk, or that the law requires us to do so. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity) will continue to apply.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Onlano grows or as the law requires. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, send a notice in-app or by email. Continued use of the Platform after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Onlano operating entity is established, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought before the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
