This is a Full-time position based in Canada. The role is Remote, allowing you to lead your team from anywhere in the country. This is not an Internship. The offered salary range for this position is 174,000 CAD to 237,100 CAD per year.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of frontend engineers to deliver high-quality production payroll features.
- Oversee the technical roadmap for the frontend architecture to ensure scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with product managers to define requirements and execute delivery timelines.
- Conduct code reviews and implement engineering best practices across the frontend codebase.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, technical excellence, and professional growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Lead in a frontend-focused environment.
- Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks, specifically React and TypeScript.
- Experience managing distributed teams in a remote-first work environment.
- Deep understanding of web performance optimization and responsive design principles.
- Ability to balance technical debt with the delivery of new product features.
