This is a full-time, fully remote position available to candidates located anywhere in the U.S., reporting to the team in Jackson, Hinds County. This is not an internship. The offered salary for this position is 122,468 USD.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new frontend features using React and Redux for VA.gov applications.
- Modernize existing frontend architecture to improve performance and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and user stories.
- Ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing and peer code reviews.
- Optimize application components for maximum speed and scalability across various devices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Frontend Developer specializing in React and Redux.
- Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Ability to obtain and maintain United States Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
- Experience working with complex, large-scale web applications.
- Strong understanding of state management and component lifecycle in React.
