This is a full-time, fully remote position available to candidates based anywhere in the United States. The role is based out of Tumwater, Thurston County, but operates in a Remote capacity. This is not an internship. The offered salary is 135,691 USD.
Responsibilities
- Drive the development of new features across VA.gov applications using React and Redux.
- Modernize existing frontend architecture to improve performance and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver user-centric digital experiences.
- Ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing and peer reviews.
- Implement scalable UI components that adhere to accessibility standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Frontend Developer specializing in React and Redux.

- Experience working on large-scale web applications with complex state management.
- Ability to obtain and maintain US Public Trust suitability clearance.
