Job details
This is a part-time contract position based remotely in Canada, specifically aligned with Vancouver, BC (Pacific Time). This role is not an internship. Salary details range up to 3000 CAD depending on hours and experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver fun and engaging project-based coding lessons to students aged 8-14.
- Guide students through courses in Scratch, Python, Roblox, and Minecraft Modding.
- Simplify complex programming concepts for a young audience to ensure understanding.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to build their coding confidence.
- Manage virtual classrooms and maintain a positive learning environment.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python, Scratch, or game development platforms like Roblox.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to children.
- Strong patience and a passion for STEM education and mentorship.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote workspace.
