This is a full-time, remote position based out of Kirkland, King County. This role is not an internship. The annual salary range for this position is 96,807 USD, though base salary may vary based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable network automation frameworks to reduce manual configuration errors.
- Lead the integration of automated workflows into existing network operations and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements for network infrastructure.
- Mentor junior and senior engineers on automation best practices and modern coding standards.
- Optimize network performance through continuous monitoring and automated remediation tools.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in network engineering with a focus on automation and software-defined networking.
- Proficiency in Python and other scripting languages used for network orchestration.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale ISP or enterprise network environments.
- Strong understanding of routing protocols, switching, and network security principles.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD pipeline integration.
