This is a Full-time, Remote position based out of Cosham, Portsmouth. This is not an internship. The salary range for this role is £70,000 - £110,000 GBP per year.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable server-side rendered applications using React and Node.js.
- Optimize MySQL database performance through efficient design and advanced query optimization.
- Manage and query large-scale datasets using BigQuery to drive business intelligence and product features.
- Architect and maintain cloud infrastructure on GCP, utilizing Cloud Run, Cloud Build, and Cloud SQL.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams to maintain high code quality standards.
Requirements
- Extensive production-proven experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Strong proficiency in React, specifically within a server-side rendering (SSR) context.
- Deep expertise in MySQL, including database schema design and ORM implementation.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and load balancing.
- Previous experience working within the ad-tech industry is highly desirable.
- GCP certification is considered a significant advantage.
