This role focuses on designing intuitive financial product experiences across Save, Spend, Borrow, Invest, and Protect verticals. As a Product Designer at Ratehub in Canada, you will work remotely or onsite collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to help Canadians make better financial decisions through exceptional digital design.

This is a Full-time, 12-month contract position based in Canada. The role can be Remote, Hybrid, or Onsite depending on team needs. Ratehub offers a competitive salary range of CAD 105,000 for this contract. You will leverage digital application technology to create user-centered designs that simplify complex financial services for Canadian consumers.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end product experiences for financial services across web and mobile
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to deliver user-centered design solutions
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using modern design tools
- Contribute to and maintain the company's design system and component library
Requirements
- 2-4 years of product design experience, preferably in Fintech or financial services
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process and outcomes
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or similar design and prototyping tools
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineers and PMs
- Understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and design systems
