This is a Full-time, Remote position based out of The City, Central London. This role is not an internship. The annual salary for this position is 60,000 GBP.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust backend services using Python to support AI functionality.
- Design and implement scalable APIs for seamless integration with frontend systems.
- Collaborate with agile teams to deliver iterative software updates and features.
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes for efficient deployment.
- Utilize GitHub for version control, branching, pull requests, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Write and maintain automated tests to ensure high code quality and system stability.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional commercial experience in Python backend development.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining scalable distributed systems.
- Strong proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for orchestration and deployment.
- Experience working in an Agile environment with a focus on continuous delivery.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub workflows, including pull requests and CI/CD.
- Comfortable using VS Code as the primary integrated development environment.
