This is a Full-time, Remote position based out of Ewell, Epsom. This is not an internship. The offered salary range for this role is £65,000 - £105,000 GBP per year.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Lead Developer to design and implement scalable data models.
- Develop and maintain backend services that feed critical business intelligence tools.
- Ensure all data is clean, consistent, and readily available for analysis.
- Optimize database queries and backend logic for high-performance data processing.
- Implement and maintain ETL pipelines following industry best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer.
- Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Proven experience working in data-centric environments or complex data projects.
- Advanced knowledge of MySQL development and database optimization.
- Solid understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) best practices.
