This is a Full-time, Remote position based out of Hockley, Birmingham. This is not an Internship. The offered salary range for this role is £42,000 - £82,000 GBP per year.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services using PHP and Python frameworks.
- Implement and optimize relational database schemas using MySQL.
- Manage and deploy applications across cloud infrastructure including AWS and Heroku.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement new features.
- Ensure high standards of secure coding practices and system performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in backend development with PHP, Python, and Django.
- Hands-on experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress and Wagtail.
- Proficiency in working with relational databases and cloud services like Cloudflare.
- Strong understanding of scalable system design and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
