This is a Full-time, Remote position based out of Gipsyville, Hull. This role is not an internship. The offered salary range for this position is £58,000 - £98,000 GBP per year.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and document new web application features
- Maintain and support existing software systems to ensure stability
- Develop scalable backend services using PHP and NodeJS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements
- Optimize relational database queries for performance and efficiency
Requirements
- At least 3 years of commercial software development experience using PHP
- Minimum 1 year of commercial experience working with NodeJS
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming techniques
- Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL or Postgres
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with the Symfony framework is highly beneficial
