This Senior Analog Mixed-Signal Engineer position is located in Palo Alto, Santa Clara County, California, and offers Remote, Hybrid, or Onsite work modes depending on candidate preference and qualifications. The role is a full-time position, not an internship. The salary range is 150,000to150,000 to 250,000 USD annually, plus equity compensation. You will architect and design analog and mixed-signal circuits for AI accelerator hardware using Cadence Virtuoso and work on advanced data converter topologies for machine learning applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect analog and mixed-signal circuits for AI hardware accelerators
  • Develop high-performance data converter IP blocks for machine learning systems
  • Implement in-memory compute circuit architectures using advanced process nodes
  • Perform circuit simulation, verification, and layout supervision in Cadence Virtuoso
  • Collaborate with digital and system teams to integrate analog IP into AI chips

Requirements

  • 5+ years of analog or mixed-signal IC design experience
  • Expertise in data converter architectures (ADC, DAC) and design techniques
  • Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso and analog simulation tools
  • Strong understanding of in-memory compute or AI hardware architectures
  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
