Role overview

Cleo Consulting is seeking a Senior APEX/ORDS Software Developer to join the Land & Resources Cluster. This full-stack role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing robust web applications to support the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement. The successful candidate will leverage Oracle APEX and ORDS to deliver high-quality software solutions.

This is a Full-time contract position based in Ontario, Canada. The role is fully Remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within the province. This is not an internship. The salary range for this position is 203,840 CAD to 224,640 CAD.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement complex web applications using Oracle APEX and ORDS.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in the Land & Resources Cluster to define technical requirements.
  • Write and optimize efficient PL/SQL code for backend database operations.
  • Perform full-stack development tasks to ensure seamless integration between UI and database.
  • Conduct rigorous testing and debugging to maintain high software quality standards.
  • Provide technical documentation and support for deployed application modules.

Requirements

  • Extensive professional experience in Oracle APEX and Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).
  • Strong proficiency in PL/SQL and relational database design.
  • Proven track record of delivering full-stack web applications in an enterprise environment.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting within Ontario.
  • Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex software issues.
  • Experience working with government clusters or public sector projects is an asset.
