This is a full-time, remote position based out of Cleveland, Ohio. This is not an internship. The salary for this role is 98,580 USD. As a senior professional, you will ensure the technical integrity of the migration and the efficiency of new quality control applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead the migration of large-scale applications from legacy systems to modern platforms.
- Develop and deploy new applications and enhancements for Manufacturing Execution Systems.
- Interpret and analyze existing legacy code to design equivalent modern functional solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements for quality control software.
- Ensure seamless integration between new applications and existing manufacturing infrastructure.
- Perform code reviews and maintain high standards for software documentation and quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Application Developer with a focus on MES or industrial software.
- Strong expertise in backend development and system migration strategies.
- Ability to analyze and reverse-engineer legacy code to implement modern replacements.
- Experience working within manufacturing or quality control software environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
