This is a Full-time position based in Canada. The role is Remote, allowing for flexibility across the region. This is a professional senior-level engineering role and is not an Internship. The offered salary range for this position is 171,500 CAD to 201,000 CAD.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services to improve the internal developer experience.
- Develop and maintain cloud-native tooling to streamline deployment and testing workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to identify and resolve productivity bottlenecks.
- Architect robust APIs and services that support high-traffic global operations.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the overall technical growth of the DevEx team.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Backend Developer with a focus on cloud environments.
- Strong proficiency in modern backend languages and distributed system architecture.
- Experience building tools or platforms specifically for developer productivity (DevEx).
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure providers and containerization technologies.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high collaboration.
