This is a full-time, remote position based in the UK. This role is not an internship. The offered salary range for this position is 91,000 GBP to 114,000 GBP.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services for the Grafana Cloud platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into observability tools.
- Maintain and optimize high-performance distributed systems to support millions of users.
- Contribute to open-source projects and maintain open standards within the ecosystem.
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers to ensure high code quality.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in backend development with a focus on scalable cloud services.
- Strong proficiency in Go or similar systems programming languages.
- Proven track record of working with distributed systems and large-scale data.
- Experience contributing to or managing open-source software projects.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment across the UK.
