This is a full-time, remote position for an experienced engineer capable of designing and maintaining complex software systems within a secure government environment.

This is a full-time, remote role based out of Broadlands, Loudoun County. This is not an internship. The salary range for this position is 116,975 USD per year.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software systems using C# and the .NET framework.
- Collaborate with stakeholders within the Department of Veterans Affairs to meet technical requirements.
- Perform comprehensive technical analysis and system debugging to ensure optimal performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior development staff.
Requirements
- Proven professional experience as a Senior .NET Developer or Software Systems Engineer.
- Advanced proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to technical detail.
