Role overview

Ashdown Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior C# Software Developer to join their technical team. This is a remote full-time position focused on full-stack .NET development, where you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust applications using a modern Microsoft stack. You will lead the full software development life cycle to deliver high-quality enterprise solutions.

Job details

This is a full-time, remote position based out of Watford, Hertfordshire. This role is not an internship. The annual salary range for this position is £50,000 - £85,000 GBP.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain full-stack applications using C#, .NET Core, and MVC architectures.
  • Design and optimize complex database queries and structures using SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
  • Implement front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like Angular or React.
  • Manage the complete software development life cycle from initial requirements to deployment.
  • Perform rigorous software testing and database optimization to ensure system performance.
  • Integrate cloud services and infrastructure using the Azure platform.

Requirements

  • Extensive professional experience as a full-stack .NET software developer.
  • Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core frameworks.
  • Proven experience with SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, and Entity Framework.
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript and a modern framework such as Angular, React, or Vue.
  • Solid understanding of structured programming and software testing methodologies.
  • Experience deploying and managing applications within the Azure cloud environment.
