This is a full-time, remote position based out of Reston, Fairfax County. This role is a contract-to-hire opportunity and is not an internship. The salary range for this position is $107,232 USD per year.
Responsibilities
- Define the end-to-end testing scope based on solution architecture and project documentation
- Design and implement a comprehensive testing strategy aligned with organizational QA standards
- Develop scalable data pipelines using AWS Lambda, S3, SNS, and SQS
- Manage cloud infrastructure deployment using AWS CloudFormation and Step Functions
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes using RedShift and SQL
- Integrate Generative AI capabilities into existing data workflows
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer with a focus on AWS cloud services
- Proficiency in Python and Node.js development
- Hands-on experience with AWS DynamoDB, S3, and RedShift
- Strong knowledge of AWS Step Functions and CloudFormation for infrastructure as code
- Experience working with BI tools and Generative AI technologies
- Ability to design and execute complex data testing strategies
