This is a Full-time position based in Glasgow City Centre, Glasgow, though it offers a fully Remote work mode within the UK. This is not an Internship. The salary range for this role is £55,000 to £70,000 GBP.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of delivering end-to-end data engineering solutions from design to deployment.
- Lead greenfield projects to build modern data architectures on cloud platforms.
- Design and implement efficient data pipelines from various source systems.
- Optimize data warehouse performance and ensure scalability of data solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer with a focus on Snowflake.
- Strong expertise in designing and deploying cloud-based data solutions.
- Experience working on greenfield projects from initial design through to production.
- Proficiency in SQL and modern data engineering languages such as Python.
- Ability to manage the full data lifecycle including ingestion, transformation, and loading.
