Role overview

ASICS Apps is seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join the Registration team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing high-traffic transactional pages, implementing design refreshes, and bridging the gap between legacy styling and modern frontend architectures to ensure a seamless user experience.

Job details

This is a contract, full-time position based in Canada. The role is operated as a remote engagement. This is not an internship. The offered salary range for this contract is 130,000 CAD to 145,000 CAD per year.

Responsibilities

  • Execute styling and behavioral updates across critical, high-traffic transactional pages.
  • Implement comprehensive design refreshes to modernize the user interface.
  • Improve and optimize legacy styling setups to align with current standards.
  • Guide implementation choices across both legacy and modern frontend areas.
  • Collaborate with the Registration team to deliver well-scoped code changes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Frontend Developer with a strong portfolio.
  • Ability to quickly become productive within an established, complex codebase.
  • Expertise in modern CSS and frontend styling methodologies.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks.
  • Experience managing technical debt and refactoring legacy code.
