Role overview

Rocket Money is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the Account Linking team. In this role, you will focus on optimizing the critical process of connecting user financial data to the platform, ensuring a seamless and reliable onboarding experience for millions of members striving for financial prosperity.

Job details

This is a Full-time position based in the US. The role is Remote, allowing you to contribute from anywhere within the United States. This is not an Internship. The salary range for this position is 150,000 USD to 185,000 USD per year.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust systems for connecting user financial accounts to the Rocket Money platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the reliability and speed of data ingestion.
  • Design and implement scalable full-stack features to enhance the user onboarding journey.
  • Optimize API integrations with third-party financial data providers to reduce connection errors.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer with a strong track record in professional software development.
  • Deep understanding of both frontend and backend technologies and how they interact.
  • Experience building and scaling complex systems, preferably within the fintech or data-heavy domains.
  • Ability to solve complex technical challenges related to data synchronization and account linking.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a distributed remote team.
