This is a Full-time, Remote position based out of Glasgow Airport, Abbotsinch. This role is not an internship. The annual salary range for this position is £52,000 - £92,000 GBP.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend microservices to support core infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain library code and contribute to open-source style internal projects.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for cross-functional teams.
- Implement rigorous testing strategies to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize application architecture and reasoning.
Requirements
- Proven experience writing backend microservices in a production environment.
- Strong proficiency in strongly typed languages, with Rust experience being a significant plus.
- Demonstrated ability to craft well-architected and easy-to-reason-about applications.
- Experience contributing to library code or open-source projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of automated testing.
