This is a Full-time, Remote position based in the US. This role is not an internship. The offered salary for this position is 95,657 USD.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of secure backend services using Java 8, 11, or 17.
- Develop and maintain robust authentication and authorization flows using OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT.
- Integrate and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms such as Okta.
- Architect and implement API Gateway and Security Gateway solutions for enterprise traffic.
- Ensure all code adheres to secure coding practices and industry security standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize microservices architecture.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17 and the Spring Boot framework.
- Deep expertise in Spring Security and token-based authentication mechanisms.
- Proven track record of implementing IAM solutions and security gateways.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices patterns.
- Experience with enterprise-grade security standards and secure software development.
- Ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior engineering staff.
