This is a full-time Senior Software Engineer position based in the UK. The role is offered as a Remote opportunity, allowing for flexible work arrangements. This is not an internship. The salary for this position is 63,670 GBP.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain managed services for OpenShift Kubernetes clusters on Google Cloud Platform.
- Implement and optimize HyperShift to host multiple control planes on shared GKE infrastructure.
- Apply agent-first development methodologies to improve software delivery and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to reduce operational overhead for end customers.
- Ensure the scalability and reliability of hosted control plane architectures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in senior software engineering roles focusing on cloud-native technologies.
- Strong proficiency with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and GKE.
- Familiarity with OpenShift or similar enterprise Kubernetes distributions.
- Ability to work in a distributed team environment across different time zones.
