This is a full-time, remote position based in Germany. This role is not an internship. The salary range for this position is 97,034 EUR to 116,441 EUR per year.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable features for the Grafana Cloud observability platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into data visualization.
- Maintain and optimize high-performance backend services to handle large-scale data streams.
- Contribute to open-source projects and uphold open standards within the ecosystem.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in rigorous code reviews to ensure quality.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in software engineering with a focus on cloud-native applications.
- Strong proficiency in languages common to observability tools, such as Go or Rust.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining distributed systems at scale.
- Deep understanding of observability principles, including metrics, logs, and traces.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.
