This is a full-time, 100% remote position based out of Reston, Fairfax County. This role is not an internship. The offered salary for this position is 154,323 USD.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test scalable software solutions to meet business needs
- Analyze and resolve complex performance issues to ensure system stability
- Take full ownership of tasks from requirements gathering through final testing
- Create detailed technical user stories that translate functional needs into actionable tasks
- Identify technical gaps and propose innovative solutions to improve software quality
- Drive continuous improvement and change across the entire development lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in a senior software engineering role
- Strong ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Demonstrated skill in analyzing and optimizing software performance
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
