This is a full-time, senior-level software engineering position based in the US with remote work options. Fee Navigator ingests processing statements in any format, classifies fees, calculates markups and savings, and generates signable proposals in seconds—automating work that previously required hours of manual analysis. You'll work on full-stack features across the platform within NMI's Account Management & Signup Tools value stream. Salary: 130,000 USD per year.
Responsibilities
- Design and build full-stack features for the Fee Navigator platform
- Develop backend systems that parse and classify merchant processing statements
- Implement automated proposal generation and fee analysis workflows
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams across the value stream
- Optimize performance and scalability of statement ingestion pipelines
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong expertise in PHP and full-stack web development
- Experience building data processing or automation platforms
- Solid understanding of backend architecture and API design
