This is a Remote, Full-time contract position based in Menlo Park, San Mateo County. This role is not an internship. The compensation for this position ranges from 80 per hour USD, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-traffic WordPress properties for a leading technology client.
- Build and optimize custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific business needs.
- Enhance overall site performance, loading speeds, and user experience across all devices.
- Collaborate with the U.S.-based technology team to implement new features and updates.
- Ensure site security and stability through regular updates and code audits.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Web Developer with a strong focus on WordPress development.
- Expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for custom theme and plugin creation.
- Experience managing and optimizing high-traffic websites and large-scale deployments.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment supporting a U.S. team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in technical implementation.
