In this role, you will focus on developing high-performance backend services that power world-class multiplayer gaming experiences. Job details

This is a Full-time position based in the UK or EU. The role is fully Remote, allowing you to work from your preferred location. This is not an Internship. The offered salary for this position is 36,580 GBP.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable backend services for multiplayer game experiences.
  • Collaborate with global co-development partners to integrate backend systems.
  • Optimize server-side performance to ensure low latency for end users.
  • Maintain and update existing backend infrastructure to support growing player bases.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high software quality and maintainability.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer focusing on backend services.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and distributed system architecture.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms and scalable database solutions.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote, global team environment.
