This is a Full-time, Remote position based out of Tumwater, Thurston County. This role is not an Internship. The salary for this position is 171,673 USD. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance.
Responsibilities
- Own the daily technical direction and architectural decisions for the engineering team
- Establish and enforce high-quality engineering standards and best practices
- Lead the development of a secure, event-driven digital submission platform
- Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to software engineers
- Collaborate with federal agency stakeholders to meet technical requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience in a technical leadership or lead engineer role
- Strong expertise in building scalable, event-driven software architectures
- Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Public Trust clearance
- Demonstrated experience in secure software development lifecycles
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with remote teams
